Ophir Netzer, a PhD in our lab, presented results from her groundbreaking research with the survivors of the tragic attack on the Supernova Music festival on October 7th. She revealed her findings on the immediate psychological impact of experiencing trauma under the influence of psychoactive substances.
The seminar also featured several other emerging voices in psychedelic research, signaling a promising future for the field as these young scientists continue to push the boundaries of our understanding of the effects of psychedelics on consciousness and health.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Hadassah BrainLabs Center for Psychedelic Research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for organizing this event. In particular, we would like to thank Prof. Bernard Lerer and Chloe Shevakh for their exceptional efforts and dedication in making this event a success.
