Our lab was well-represented at the recent Psychedelic Neuroscience Prague workshop hosted by NUDZ, where researchers gathered to discuss the latest advancements in psychedelic research and trauma.
Prof. Roy Salomon presented our lab’s ongoing work on the Nova cohort, sharing longitudinal data on trauma and recreational psychedelic use in real-world settings. His talk highlighted key findings led by Dr. Noa Magal, providing important insights into these complex experiences.
Ophir Netzer also presented complementary data from the same cohort, focusing on the intricate relationship between extreme stress and substance use. Ophir’s presentation explored how acute stress experienced during the attack affected the subjective intensity of various psychoactive substances.
Beyond the scientific presentations, the workshop provided a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect with inspiring pioneers in the field, such as Eric Vermetten, and to engage in meaningful discussions about the future of psychedelic neuroscience.
We would like to extend our thanks to the organizers at NUDZ for creating such an open and rigorous space for this important scientific exchange.
