Our lab was honored to participate in the 2024 Psychedelic MedicineIsrael conference in Israel, an interdisciplinary international forum for discussing psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic research. Prof. Roy Salomon presented our collaborative large-scale research project with SafeHeart, focusing on survivors of the October 7th attack on the Nova festival. Additionally, Ophir Netzer, a PhD candidate in our lab, shared the first results from this project. The SafeHeart therapists and founders team also presented their therapeutic approach to the survivors.
The conference, organized by Keren Tzarfaty from MAPS Israel & Hakomi Institute Israel and Prof. Bernard Lerer from Hadassah Medical Center, Hebrew University
Israel, featured prominent keynote speakers, including experts in trauma, mental health, and psychedelic research.
